Access Bank Limited and Hygeia HMO has launched a scheme for In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment giving hopes to couples. The scheme will finance post investigation, technical fees, drugs, donor eggs and donor sperm cells as required in each case.
The Head, Business development and Strategy, Hygeia HMO, Obinna Ukachukwu said those facing fertility issues often try many different fertility boosting methods delivered by untrained providers, thereby risking their lives and finances. He said this is because of few reputable treatment centres and the high cost of funding these treatments.
He also said that the initiative will reduce the financial cost on couples and the company will also provide in-house doctors that will guide clients.
